Has Anyone Tested the Center Passenger Airbag in Real World Ownership?

I noticed the Ranger Raptor comes with a center passenger (front center) airbag as part of its safety package, but I rarely see owners talking about it. For those who have spent a lot of time with their trucks, has anyone learned more about how it works or discussed it with their dealer?

Does it affect the center console area in any noticeable way, or is it something you never think about until it's needed?

I'm interested in hearing from owners who've researched this feature or compared it with other midsize trucks.
